Veteran, volunteer for many Glendale military groups earns hall call

Navy veteran and Mayor’s Military Mission member Eric Wenzel was inducted into the Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame Oct. 23 at an awards ceremony attended by Glendale Mayor Jerry P. Weiers.

The Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame Society recognizes military veterans who have demonstrated exemplary service to their nation and dedication to their communities following their military discharge.

"It was a profound honor to attend the Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony and witness the well-deserved induction of Navy veteran Eric Wenzel," Weiers stated in a press release. "The Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame Society exemplifies the highest ideals of patriotism and service—dedicated to preserving military traditions and championing support for our active-duty personnel, veterans, and their families."
