Town welcomes all to Gilbert Family Triathlon

Gilbert will hold its third annual Gilbert Family Triathlon from 7-10 a.m. Sept. 27 at Perry High School.

The event will include a 100-yard swim in the pool, a 2-mile bike around the campus and a 1-mile run on the track. All participants can return to the pool after their race for an open family swim.

Racers are encouraged to sign up as a family and cheer each other on along the way. All participants must be at least 6 years old and bring their own bicycle.

Town welcomes all to Gilbert Family Triathlon

Gilbert will hold its third annual Gilbert Family Triathlon from 7-10 a.m. Sept. 27 at Perry High School.

The event will include a 100-yard swim in the pool, a 2-mile bike around the campus and a 1-mile run on the track. All participants can return to the pool after their race for an open family swim.

Racers are encouraged to sign up as a family and cheer each other on along the way. All participants must be at least 6 years old and bring their own bicycle.

Gilbert welcomes patrons of all abilities to participate in its programs. If someone or their child has a disability requiring accommodation, the town asks to let it know at the time of registration. Its ability to provide support staff may be limited due to the number of requests and staff availability.

Registration is $25 per person and includes a finisher's medal and a t-shirt! Registration is open until Sept. 21 at 11:59 p.m..

Mandatory packet pick-up will take place from 2-6 p.m. Sept. 23 and from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Sept. 24 at the Gilbert Town Hall Municipal II building, 90 E. Civic Center Drive, Gilbert Packets will not be available the morning of the race.
