Tempe vice mayor to chair MAG committee

Tempe Vice Mayor Doreen Garlid will chair the Maricopa Association of Governments Community Initiatives Coordinating Committee, joining delegates from Goodyear, El Mirage, Buckeye, Chandler and more.

The committee is one of many in MAG that works to improve services in Maricopa County. It combines previous committees that work to help those in domestic violence situations.

“Improving the quality of life for our most vulnerable residents is so important," Garlid said.
