Gilbert families can kick off the season with a winter-themed celebration during the Snow-vember Pop-Up Party on Nov. 7 at the McQueen Park Activity Center.
The event, scheduled from 10 to 11:30 a.m., will feature a variety of snow-inspired activities for children and their families. Participants will build edible melting snowman creations, enjoy hot cocoa and create seasonal crafts.
Organizers also plan an indoor snowball fight before concluding the event with a foam snowstorm outdoors. Children are encouraged to bring a towel, as the foam activities are expected to leave participants wet.
The event is designed for families, and all attendees, including adults and children, must be registered. Children younger than 2 may attend free of charge and do not need to register.
Adult supervision is required throughout the event.
The McQueen Park Activity Center is located at 510 N. Horne St. in Gilbert.
