Higley Unified School District has expanded its early childhood education offerings with the addition of two new preschool locations and three kinderprep programs on elementary school campuses.
The district operates two early childhood development centers — the Sue Sossaman Early Childhood Development Center and the Elona P. Cooley Early Childhood Development Center — and will add preschool programs at Gateway Pointe, Higley Traditional Academy and San Tan Elementary.
District preschool programs are designed to support early academic, social and developmental growth and to prepare students for kindergarten.
