Hale Centre Theatre putting on "Sh-Boom! Life Could Be a Dream"

Hale Centre Theatre has started a seven-week run of the musical "Sh-Boom! Life Could Be a Dream."

The musical runs through Mondays, Tuesdays and some Wednesdays through March 5.

The musical invites the audience to take a trip to Springfield High School and meet Denny and the Dreamers, a fledgling doo-wop group preparing to enter the Big Whopper Radio contest to realize their dreams of making it to the big time.

Songs include  “Fools Fall in Love," “Tears on My Pillow," “Runaround Sue," “Earth Angel," and more.

There are no performances Feb. 12-14. Showtimes are 4 and 7:30 p.m. Tickets run $32-$48.
