Gilbert's Spring Concert Series closes with Dorsten

Posted

Award-winning folk-rock/Americana band Dorsten will be the final performers of Gilbert's Spring Concert Series on March 28.

The brother and sister duo, with Sophie providing vocals and Alex instrumentation, has been influenced by the likes of Florence + The Machine, The Lumineers, and Kaleo.

They have performed with national touring acts and at numerous music festivals.

With the Water Tower Plaza closed for renovation, the series has moved a little ways to  the greenspace in the Heritage Marketplace, just north of the Barrio Queen and south of the  canal.

The concert is free and runs from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Those attending can bring blankets or lawn chairs.
