Elevate, Gilbert set to hold second capstone event

Posted

Tech sales education group Elevate is joining with Gilbert to present Elevate's second capstone event, the Tech Sales Xcelerator, on May 9 at the town's University Building.

The event is to elevate tech sales talent and drive community growth.  Presentations start at 4 p.m.

Last year, Elevate's partnership with Gilbert resulted in a graduation rate of 100% and an employment rate of 86%, with an average income of more than $55,000 for participating students local to Gilbert, showcasing the program's effectiveness in preparing individuals for successful careers in tech sales.

This year,  graduates are preparing to showcase their skills once again. With live pitches in front of employer judges, participants have the chance to unlock career opportunities and shape the future of tech sales.

Beyond the pitches, the event serves as a platform for dialogue, networking opportunities, and collaboration on community growth.

A panel discussion, "Empowering Communities: Navigating the Skills Gap Together," brings together thought leaders from various sectors to explore strategies for bridging gaps and driving progress.

From fostering inclusivity to nurturing talent, this discussion aims to ignite actionable solutions and inspire collective impact.

Business leaders, sales leaders, and workforce development representatives are invited to come to the event.

Gilbert’s workforce support and business assistance programs are managed and promoted by the Town of Gilbert Office of Economic Development.

Residents can learn more about these and other business tools including the #GilbertTogether HUUB, a townwide online community and resource center for small businesses, by visiting www.GilbertEDI.com.
