GPS, Higley scrutinize district finances

School finance will be front and center at two Gilbert school board meetings scheduled for Tuesday night. 

Both Gilbert Public Schools and Higley Unified School District governing boards will meet and consider their annual financial reports and report to the public on their voter-approved spending. 

Gilbert Public Schools will report on their bond and maintenance and operations override spending from fiscal year 2024-25 while Higley will report on its current maintenance and operations override.
