Gilbert Town Council heads into busy week

Gilbert Town Council has a light meeting Tuesday but a heavy workload for the week.

Council will meet at 4 p.m. Monday for an executive session covering legal advice on a series of matters: potential litigation involving an arbitration award relating to the purchase of land for Somerton Boulevard; condemnation litigation in Maricopa County v. Butler; a development agreement related to land near the northwest corner of Gilbert and Elliot Roads; and membership of the redevelopment commission.

Executive sessions are closed to the public, exempted from the state’s opening meeting laws.
