Gilbert Public Schools campuses are hosting Grandparents Day events throughout September, inviting grandparents and extended family members to participate in school activities and spend time with students.
The events include breakfasts, lunches and classroom visits designed to strengthen connections between students and family members across generations.
School officials said the gatherings give students an opportunity to share their daily school experiences while allowing grandparents to engage with campus life.
