Gilbert residents will continue receiving library services through the Maricopa County Library District after town council approved a new intergovernmental agreement for the Southeast Regional Library and Perry Branch Library.
The council approved the agreement as part of its June 23 consent agenda.
The new agreement began July 1 and runs through June 30, 2031, with an option for one additional five-year renewal. It replaces the previous agreement established in 2016, which also included a five-year renewal option.
