The Gilbert Police Department will host its fourth annual Cops N’ Goblins Trunk-or-Treat on Saturday, Oct. 25, offering families a safe and festive alternative to traditional trick-or-treating.

The event will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. in the parking lot of the Gilbert Police Department, 75 E. Civic Center Drive. The first hour, from 5 to 6 p.m., will be designated as a Sensory Awareness Family Event, or S.A.F.E. program, with no loud noises or bright lights to accommodate those with sensory sensitivities.

Town departments and local businesses will host decorated trunks and distribute candy. The parking lot is accessible for strollers, wheelchairs and walkers. Leashed pets are allowed.

Parking will be available at the municipal buildings across the street, and registration is required to attend.
