The town of Gilbert is seeking applicants for six positions to serve on the Judicial Selection and Advisory Board.

The openings include three for residents who are not licensed attorneys and three for residents who are members of the State Bar of Arizona. Incumbents may reapply.

The Judicial Selection and Advisory Board will review applications for judges of the municipal court as forwarded from the application process, recommend to the Town Council the best qualified persons to become full-time town judges, evaluate the performance of incumbent full-time judges, and advise the Town Council about renewing contracts for judicial services.

Board members serve without salary or compensation.

Members must reside within town limits and be qualified electors.

Members typically serve 3-year terms.

This board meets as needed.
