Gilbert focusing on inclusivity for Desert Sky Park Phase 2 

Gilbert is set to break ground later this year on the second phase of Desert Sky Park, expanding the site into what officials call a “park within a park” designed to serve the whole community. 

Parks Manager Kylie Sorensen said construction is expected to take about two years.  

"So breaking ground at the end of this year, and then yeah, we’ll just keep moving from there,” she said.
