Gilbert Chamber Foundation launches Student Entrepreneurs Academy

Students will have a chance to be mentored and take classes on entrepreneurship through the Student Entrepreneurs Academy.

The Gilbert Chamber Foundation is rolling out a new program designed to help young innovators turn their ideas into action.

The Student Entrepreneurs Academy, beginning Oct. 21, is a 16-week hands-on course open to students in grades 6-12.

The academy is designed to students launch a big idea, said Elaine Kessler, the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce’s director of foundation and community impact.
