Gilbert is backing some residents' request for a Colonia Home Ranch Irrigation Water Delivery District.

The Gilbert Town Council has endorsed the creation of the Colonia Home Ranch Irrigation Water Delivery District.

Council approving the measure 6-0 at its Aug. 5 meeting with Councilmember Yung Koprowski absent.

An IWDD is a special taxing district under Arizona law that facilitates delivery of irrigation water to landowners’ properties and manages the associated infrastructure.
