Developers may get short reprieve from Gilbert fee hikes

Gilbert may be postponing a large increase in developer fees.

But if the Gilbert Town Council agrees to continue the item from its agenda, as staff has asked, it will only be for a couple weeks.

The fees, which have been opposed by the Central Arizona Homebuilders Association, are scheduled to be part of the May 6 council meeting at Town Hall. Staff is proposing to continue the item until May 20.
