With a career marked by "literal drive and determination," according to the release, Causey is a founding member of the NASCAR Accelerators host committee.
She's also the first female African-American track president in NASCAR history.
Causey's perspective is somewhat unique. She grew up in the West Valley before embarking on a business career.
Other racing-industry panelists will be announced at a later date.
The Jan. 21 event is set to be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at SoHo 63, 63 E. Boston Street, downtown Chandler.
