Maricopa Community Colleges and Chandler-Gilbert Community College officials welcomed Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs to an Oct. 6 ribbon-cutting for a new program.
The Arizona Commerce Authority and industry partners Able Aerospace, The Boeing Company, Comtech Telecommunications, Garmin, Gulfstream Aerospace, Honeywell Aerospace, Mesa Gateway Airport, and Vogt Aero were also on hand to officially celebrate the grand opening of the Future48 Aerospace and Defense Workforce Accelerator.
The facility will serve as the epicenter for Arizona’s aerospace manufacturing training, serving almost 1,000 students annually, a news release states.
