Loop 202 westbound lanes to close this weekend

Work continues this on a Loop 202 widening project from the Arizona Department of Transportation.

Westbound Loop 202 will be closed between Gilbert Road and Arizona Avenue from 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, until 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 31, as work continues on the Loop 202 widening project.

The westbound Loop 202 on-ramps at Lindsay Road, Val Vista Drive and Santan Village Parkway also will be closed during the work period.

In addition, the westbound frontage road between Lindsay and Gilbert roads will be closed.
