Deadlines approaching for Chandler education raffle

The Chandler Education Foundation has announced the return of its Winner’s Choice Car or Cash Raffle, with more ways to win than in the past.

This annual fundraiser supports Chandler Unified School District classrooms and scholarships for graduating seniors, according to a news release.

The grand-prize winner will choose between $20,000 in cash or $27,000 toward the retail price of any Toyota vehicle from Big Two Toyota of Chandler.

The raffle is entirely online at cefraffle.org, It's open to any Arizona resident age 21 or older.

New this year, CEF has added incentives to maximize community participation:

  • Volume Discounts: The more tickets each entrant buys, the lower the cost per ticket.  For example, 10 tickets cost $20, but 30 tickets only cost $40.
  • Bonus Tickets: Earn bonus tickets by sharing the referral link on a receipt.
  • "Early bird" prizes: Purchase tickets by 9 a.m., Friday, Feb. 14 to qualify for bonus prizes. Early-bird winners remain eligible for the grand prize.

The grand prize drawing will be livestreamed at noon, Friday, Feb. 28 on cefraffle.org

Last year, this fundraiser raised $111,000 for scholarships and contributed almost $23,000 in resources to CUSD schools. The lucky grand prize winner, Sue H., turned her $20 contribution into a $20,000 cash prize while supporting her niece, who's a teacher at Frye Elementary.
