Chandler Police: Public help sought in locating arson suspect

The Chandler Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 61-year-old Oscar Sanchez, who it says is a suspect in an arson investigation.

The case involves a house fire reported just after 7 a.m. on May 4 at a residence in the 400 block of Tremaine Drive. The home was occupied by five people at the time of the fire, three of whom currently have active orders of protection against Sanchez,  Chandler Police stated in a news release.

Anyone with information on Sanchez’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Chandler Police Department at 480-782-4130 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS, or 480-948-6377. Callers to Silent Witness can remain anonymous.
