A total of 128 commercial building permits were issued in October in Mesa.

A sampling of building permits from the city’s website (by address, date issued, description, value, type of work and contractor or applicant) are:

• 9317 E. Ray Road No. 106; Oct. 15; a 1,200-square-foot tenant improvement in a new shell building for a national chain of barber shops, seating area with six barber chairs; $255,408; tenant improvement (interior only); Laurshan Inc./Brent Kleinman Architect.
