The Apache Junction City Council in November is to vote on a $250,000 professional services agreement with artist Karen Yank to design, purchase and install art within the roundabout at State Route 88 and Superstition Boulevard.
The council is to meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, in the council chambers, 300 E. Superstition Blvd.
Community members and the city council have expressed interest in putting a sculpture at the roundabout, Planner Erika Hernandez said during an Oct. 19 council work session.
