Registration is open for Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley’s summer camp programs designed to help working parents while ensuring that thousands of youth have a summer of exploration.
Camps, which are open to youth and teens between the ages of 5 and 18, will be held from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays between late May and early August. Program dates for Valley locations can be found at BGCAZ.org. Clubs align with local school district calendars, according to a release.
For youth members (ages 5-12), the weekly program cost is $60, $80 or $100 depending on the club location. Teens (between the ages of 13 and 18) can attend for free with annual membership.
With programs in the arts, sciences, sports and more, BGCAZ summer camp is a positive and fun way for young people to spend their summer months. Participants can develop meaningful relationships with peers and adults while participating in activities that build healthy lifestyles, academic success, and good character and leadership. A nutritious breakfast and lunch, along with healthy snacks, will be offered to all members, the release states.
Registration is open for club members and non-members. For information and to register, go to https://www.bgcaz.org/summer-camp/ or call 602-954-8182. Families can follow BGCAZ’s social media at @BGCArizona.
