OPINION — Re: the $250,000 art project for the roundabout (“City to consider $250K roundabout art agreement” on the cover of the November 2026 edition of the Apache Junction/Gold Canyon Independent),
I suggest a bronze statue of the End of the Trail legendary Indian on the horse or an Indian wearing a headdress on a horse with a spear looking to the sky, in bronze.
But what I would really like to see is a fountain that could be solar powered with recycling water and water that shoots straight up like the one at Fountain Hills.
