Why I prefer in-person to mail-in voting

Sun City reader cites privacy concerns

Posted

OPINION — When I received my mail-in primary ballot card, I ripped it up!

It’s a post card with all information available to anyone who puts their hands on it! I don’t want anyone knowing my business; therefore, I’m voting in person.

I realize it’s because I’m not affiliated with any political party, so I had to choose which party for the primary election. Still, I’m going to vote in person.

Anyone that touches it could toss it because they don’t like the party I designate. What happened to privacy?
