Tempe’s Hayden’s Ferry Days Festival returns after pandemic absence

The Hayden’s Ferry Days Festival will feature music, food, historical re-enactments and children’s activities on Sunday at the Tempe History Museum Plaza.
It is the first time the festival is taking place since 2020 and will run from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 5, at the museum, 809 E. Southern Ave.
There will be a variety of food trucks, local vendors as well as numerous educational and fun events, according to organizers.
Live performances include Mariachi Estrella de Cobre, Rhythm is Life Steel Band, Bad Cactus Brass Band and Cisco and the Racecars.
Among the live heritage demonstrations and exhibits are tortilla making, weaving, ceramics and woodworking.
