This free program provides personalized guidance, resources and support for individuals and families navigating college, career and post-secondary opportunities.
College Connect offers in-person and virtual services, including one-on-one advising, college and career connections, and interactive workshops. Participants can get help exploring college and career pathways, preparing resumes and interview materials and more.
Sessions provide practical information and guidance for anyone preparing for college, supporting someone through the process or simply exploring available options. Workshop participants may also have a chance to win a scholarship for attending!
Upcoming College Connect workshops:
Sept. 9 – College applications for attending a university: Learn about college resources, Arizona public university options and important application deadlines during this virtual workshop from 6-7:30 p.m. Registration is required, and attendees will be entered for a chance to win a $1,000 scholarship.
Oct. 21 – Filling out the FAFSA: Get guidance on completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and better understand the financial aid process.
Dec. 2 – Local scholarships: Learn how to find local scholarship opportunities and get tips for navigating the scholarship application process.
March 3 – Applying to a community college: Explore community college options and learn more about the steps involved in applying and getting started.
April 14 – Financial literacy: Build practical financial knowledge and money-management skills that can help with planning for education and future goals.
