Upgrades to the existing Indian Bend Wash Multi-use Path between McKellips and Curry Roads are still in progress.
The City of Tempe is hosting an in-person and virtual public meeting on Sept. 17 to share updates and the next steps. Designs, which were based on public feedback and on maintaining the wash’s function as a flood mitigation measure, include improved access to open spaces, new lighting, public art, and increased shade with a tree-lined pathway.
