Following a water main leak on the McClintock High School campus in Tempe, school staff have decided to hold a virtual learning day while repairs were being made.
Below is a statement from Tempe High School District staff:
At around 3 p.m. on Oct. 12, a water main leak was detected on campus. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the water on campus would be affected and would have to be shut off for repair work, including in bathrooms and the cafeteria.
As a result, we will be switching to a Virtual Learning Day on Tuesday, October 13th. Please log in to Canvas to check for assignments from your teachers.
Completing the assignment is how attendance will be taken for each course. Teachers will post assignments in Canvas (with “October 13” as the title for students). Attendance will be tracked based on student assignment completion and submission in Canvas by 3pm.
Your patience and understanding is appreciated. As we know more information, we will share accordingly.
