After several weeks with minimal public action from Tempe boards, the Board of Adjustment and the Development Review Commission are back on Aug. 25 and 26 to discuss pending improvements to various plans in areas across the city.
On Aug. 25 the Development Review Commission will discuss the Corona and South Tempe character plan and the public input that was received by the board.
Character plans have become more prominent in Tempe in the past year with issues brought to the City Council involving multi-story dwelling units and changes at the state level, with the Middle Housing Agreement making way for more building to improve access to affordable housing.
