Be part of the planning: Apache Junction Founders Day Committee meets Feb. 4 at library

The Apache Junction Founders Day Committee meets 6-8 p.m. the first Thursday of every month — including Feb. 4 — at the Apache Junction Public Library, 1177 N. Idaho Road.
"I believe there will also be an option for Zoom for those who are not comfortable in group settings or cannot make it in person. I will get that information out to you all as soon as I have it. I hope to see you all there," Committee Chair Braden Biggs said in a release.
Apache Junction was founded by George Curtis and was settled in 1922.
The centennial of that decision is approaching and volunteers have begun meeting to plan a year-long celebration for 2022.
