A space of over 5,000 square feet in Tempe at 1140 W Alameda Drive will soon be a baseball pitching training facility owned by KNCT Athletics.
Former MLB player Joe Jones helped facilitate the lease that will begin in ***
Jones' background in professional baseball proved instrumental in identifying a facility uniquely suited to the tenant's operational needs. Before becoming an advisor to partners Mark Cassell and Landon McKernan, Jones spent nine seasons as a professional baseball pitcher, competing for multiple organizations, including the Arizona Diamondbacks, Boston Red Sox, Toronto Blue Jays, and others.
The new facility will feature two pitching mounds, a weight room, warm-up and cardio areas, open flex space, storage areas, and office space designed specifically for elite baseball training and player development.
KNCT Athletics was founded by former Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Ben Baggett after battling an injury but eventually becoming a pro.
The company will help aspiring pro pitchers reach their potential.
