The town of Gilbert has launched a new utility billing portal designed for seamless, secure, and mobile-friendly access from any device.
To ensure a smooth transition, services will not be disconnected to allow customers time to register their new account numbers from the July bills.
The portal now allows customers to track their water usage in real time; start, stop or transfer service; to have expanded payment options.
Any remaining balances will be transferred to the new portal, where customers will be able to pay any outstanding amounts.
The previous system and mobile app are no longer accepting payments. If a customers is unable to pay the June bill before the transition, it can be paid through the new portal without risking fees or disconnection.
Customers who wish to continue managing their account online can register for the new portal. The new customer account number can be found in the upper right corner of the July bill, which will be sent per the normal billing cycle. Customers will also need the service address zip code to create an account.
Customers can download the Gilbert 311 app for even faster access to the portal.
Autopay information will not transfer — re-enroll with a credit card or bank details to avoid missed payments. Signing up for autopay using a savings or checking account for a fee-free payment option.
Services will continue as normal during this time of transition. Most inquiries can be addressed through a Frequently Asked Questions section.
