Posted

Vestar has announced the completion of more than 15,000 square feet of new shop space at Queen Creek Marketplace, as well as the addition of five new tenants, including a steakhouse.

Barnes & Noble, Aubergine Kitchen, JINYA Ramen Bar, LongHorn Steakhouse and LaserAway will be opening this year and next at Queen Creek Marketplace, 21398 S. Ellsworth Loop Road, according to a press release from owner and developer Vestar.

The five new businesses will collectively add nearly 30,000 square feet of new retail and restaurant space to the center and bring its occupancy rate to 96% to the 900,000-square-foot center.

“Since opening in 2008, Queen Creek Marketplace has continued to evolve alongside the community, welcoming new retailers, restaurants and service providers to meet the needs of the area’s growing population,” Angie Kory, vice president of leasing at Vestar, stated in the release. “Each of these new stores bring something unique, giving our customers new ways to shop, dine and spend time at the center.”

Barnes & Noble will open near T.J. Maxx and J. Crew with a grand opening set for Nov. 11. The new bookstore will be 15,000 square feet and will include a café.

Aubergine Kitchen, a family-owned restaurant group, will open its second Arizona location at the beginning of 2027. The approximately 3,000-square-foot restaurant will be located near Barrio Queen and Trader Joe’s and will offer salads, bowls, smoothies and more.

JINYA Ramen Bar will be opening a 3,000-square-foot location in the new building and will be near Aubergine Kitchen. JINYA is expected to open in early 2027, and will offer slow-simmered ramen, small plates and other Japanese-inspired dishes.

LongHorn Steakhouse will open its first location in the southeast Valley in a 5,800-square-foot space. With an anticipated opening in spring 2027, the restaurant will bring grilled steaks, freshly baked bread, signature salads, sides and more, “providing a new full-service dining option for everything from casual family meals to special occasions,” the release continued.

Skincare provider LaserAway will also open in early 2027 and will provide a range of dermatology services including laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation, body contouring and other aesthetic services.

Queen Creek Marketplace is anchored by Target and Trader Joe’s.
