Willow Canyon girls wrestling first appeared in the state finals in 2020, the second year of the sport in Arizona high schools.

Six years later the Wildcats are preparing for state as a true program on the rise, with a junior varsity dedicated coaching.

Three Willow Canyon sophomores won their weight class at the Peoria Invitational in January and are ready to make noise in Division I at state Feb. 20 and 21.
