There is a lot more to pledging with Omega Psi Phi Fraternity as the Xi Nu Nu chapter wants people to know they are here to help the Surprise community in any way they can and are ready to step in to service.
Dr. Benjamin L. Davis of Surprise, said there are about 45 active members now in the locally-based Xi Nu Nu chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. Members are planning to host a clothing drive on Oct. 24 at Deep Within Rehab Center, 11773 N. 91st Ave., in Peoria; and a veterans event Nov. 10 at the Arizona State Veterans Home, 4141 N. Silvestre Herrera Way, in Phoenix.
“We are in every city in the West Valley,” Davis said. “We want to help the Surprise community.”
