Everyone was individually greeted at the West Valley Toastmasters Club fall open house, which was not uncommon for a setting where public speaking is practiced and promoted.
West Valley Toastmasters Club President and Toastmaster of the Day Tisha Lynton Rose hosted the diverse group of members and visitors who met Sept. 30 in the Large Room of the Surprise Regional Library, 16089 N. Bullard Ave. The West Valley club was chartered April 1, 1991.
“Toastmasters is a safe place to grow and learn,” said Lynton Rose, noting October marked the 103-year anniversary of the international club that nurtures improving public speaking, building leadership skills and networking.
