Imagine Rosefield Elementary School collected cookies to donate to the men and women of the 56 MXG at Luke Air Force Base during the second annual Honor Walk Annual Cookie Drive.

The cookie collection, which was led by coach Leonard Benedetto, brought in more than 7,600 cookies to be donated to the airmen for the holidays.

The cookie collection lasted one week and started with a special visit from Captain Ramsey and several other airmen.

Fourth-grade students listened to their experiences in the Air Force and learned why the cookie drive means so much to them.

Afterward, they shared lunch with our students and even read with our first graders.

“We’re truly grateful for their time and service to our community and country,” Imagine Rosefield officials wrote in a news release. “It was a visit our students won’t forget.”

The Imagine Rosefield campus is at 12050 N. Bullard Ave.
