Surprise Stallions outrace district field again

Shadow Ridge cross country upheld its tradition Oct. 9 at the Dysart District Cup, with both the boys and girls teams continue their streaks of district crowns.

The girls squad is up to eight wins in a row, and cruised to the title with 16 points. Runner up Valley Vista had 58 points.

“Every year it means a little more, it has become a source of pride to keep the cup at Shadow Ridge,” girls cross country coach Leland Dick stated in an email.
