The Council gave its OK Sept. 17 to 22 Tuesday night meetings for next year, including the first one on Jan. 7, which will be the induction ceremony for new mayor Kevin Sartor, returning councilmember Patrick Duffy and new councilmembers Earle Greenberg and Johnny Melton.
The vice mayor election, which happens each January, is scheduled for Jan. 21.
The Council traditionally meets on the first and third Tuesday of the month except in July. A work session at 4 p.m. is usually held but not always. Regular meetings typically start at 6 p.m.
