Launch Team 6352, a nonprofit robotics team from Surprise, is Houston-bound for the FIRST Robotics World Championship between April 16 and 19 after clinching the prestigious Impact Award at the Arizona East Regional Competition.
Representing Arizona on a global stage, the team of 19 students from nine Valley schools now aims to raise $15,000 to cover entry fees, travel and robot costs.
Founded in 2016, Launch Team 6352 inspires underserved students to explore STEM through robotics, relying entirely on community and corporate sponsorship as a 501(c)(3) organization without school district funding. Their award-winning efforts — highlighted in a video at bit.ly/6352impact2025 — showcase their mission to ignite innovation in the community and beyond.
