"The maintenance to Three Star Park is part of our ongoing efforts to improve recreational facilities for the community," city officials wrote in a news release. "This project will not only make the court more functional but also create an inviting space for people to enjoy and stay active."

Surprise park to have basketball court renovated
Three Star Park work to be done by Jan. 1

The Surprise Parks and Recreation Department announced renovations on the basketball court at Three Star Park, 15825 N. Jerry St.
Work will begin on Tuesday, Dec. 17. The project is expected to be completed by Jan. 1, ensuring the court will be ready for use in the new year.

Although the basketball court will be closed, the park will remain open during construction. Visitors are encouraged to be mindful of construction zones for safety.
