The November meeting of the White Tanks Mountain chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution welcomed Surprise Mayor Skip Hall as its guest speaker to start the month at the Happy Trails community in Surprise.

Hall provided an update to the members about new growth and development in the community, most notably sharing information about new businesses coming to the city’s new Elm Street at Surprise City Center.

“We always enjoy welcoming Surprise Mayor Skip Hall to our meetings,” said chapter regent Tammy Dollar. “Our chapter deeply appreciates his service to our nation as well as his leadership in Surprise, which has positively impacted the community’s robust economic future.”

It was Hall’s third time speaking to the group since 2022.

The chapter meets monthly in Surprise. In keeping with the objectives of DAR, chapter members work together on numerous projects in order to promote historic preservation, education and patriotism.

We invite you to contact our chapter registrar to arrange for a meeting invitation or to get started in becoming a member of DAR, including tracing your heritage to find an American Revolutionary War Patriot.
