Surprise hosting several workshops on Medicare

The city of Surprise is hosting several free workshops for anyone wanting to learn more about Medicare.

Topics include how and when to apply, coverage information, enrollment guidelines, changes coming in 2025 and more.

The Surprise Senior Center, 15382 Hollyhock St., will host the workshops Friday, Nov. 15 and Monday, Dec. 2.

The Surprise Resource Center, 12425 W. Bell Road, Suite 124, will be the site of classes on Wednesday, Nov. 13, Tuesday, Nov. 26 and Tuesday, Dec. 3.

All sessions at both locations are from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Surprise’s local State Health Insurance Assistance Program Counselor, Roberta Ezratty, will be teaching the classes.

Residents can choose to attend any one of the workshops.

No registration is required, and walk-ins are welcomed.
