Surprise centenarian has 100 reasons to live

Williams basks in celebration of his life

Ten decades. 1,200 months. 5,218 weeks. 36,526 days. 876,624 hours.

That’s the amount of time Surprise resident and Canadian veteran Don Williams has lived as of today, the day he turns 100 years old.

“People always guess that I’m anywhere from 75 up to 90,” the relatively young and active Williams said after his home, Fellowship Square Surprise, threw a birthday party for him with more than a hundred of its residents.
