Surprise already looking for tax prep volunteers

The city of Surprise needs volunteers to help low to moderate-income families and individuals prepare their taxes.

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program is sponsored by the IRS and provides free tax return preparation services through a large network of short-term volunteers.

Volunteers are not required to have prior tax preparation experience; training will be provided. There is a large variety of volunteer opportunities within the VITA program, including the following:
