A new study showed Surprise is just like its neighboring cities when it comes to the high cost of maintaining a lawn.
Lawn Love, which has been described as the “Uber of Lawn Care,” recently released its list of “Cities Where Lawn Care Services Cost the Most Green in 2025.” It ranked Surprise 75th among 454 cities in the U.S., but it was one of 11 Valley cities ranked between 32nd and 123rd.
Goodyear was ranked the most expensive Phoenix metro city for lawn care, followed by Buckeye (51st) and Scottsdale (54th). Tucson was the highest non-Valley city at 67th.
